Rabs Driving provides our learner drivers with training in all aspects of becoming a safe, confident driver, all of which is tailored to suit you as an individual.

When learning to drive, you are learning a skill that many of us use almost every day of our lives, so it's really important to get it right. Learning to drive shouldn't be a chore, it should be fun, enjoyable and comfortable.

The car we currently use is a new Kia Ceed GT Line 5-Door with a manual gearbox. It has some clever features, most of which are switched off! This is because for most people, their first car won't have lots of clever gadgets, like automatic handbrake, and hill-start assist etc, so it's really important that you learn how to control all aspects of a car yourself. However, it is fitted with Dual Controls, so you can have the confidence to know that you are totally safe when learning.

One nice feature it does have switched on is Air-Conditioning, as we believe it is important for our pupils to be relaxed & comfortable, not hot & bothered before they even start!

We use many resources to help you learn to drive, including the latest modern techniques and learning materials, along with good old fashioned experience to make driving lessons informative, as well as good fun.

We have interactive learning using an iPad, as sometimes pictures, photographs, even Google earth images of the exact place we are can be a great help in knowing what is coming up.

We also use various books and pictures to help explain different situations and techniques, as we know a picture can paint a thousand words...
